I’ve been using this day & night for about a week-ish, so it seems only fair to do my first impressions. This essence is formulated with 100% jeju houttuynia cordata (heartleaf) extract - which is meant to calm while hydrating the skin barrier. At first I thought the texture would have more viscosity to it for being an essence but it’s more true watery lightweight toner, which makes sense as this is a single ingredient essence. While this doesn’t contain fragrance at all, it does have a natural brewed black tea leaves scent and I actually love that smell. It’s great for layering hydration after cleansing (I like to use 2-3 layers) feels soothing and absorbs pretty quickly. Overall I’m really enjoying it, not only for how hydrating this is but also as a sensorial part of my routine. I can’t enough of that scent, tea leaves are such a calming scent for me!

I really like this Banobagi Heart Leaf 100 Essence . This is a lightweight watery essence. It is a yellow and orange color. I like that it does absorb well into the skin. This essence is formulated with 100% Cordata Extract, and Jeju Heart Leaf extract These extracts help to soothe and moisturize the skin. I use the essence day and night, and have noticed it reduces redness, and calms my combination skin.

This Heart leaf essence is so light textured and has consistency like water. It is made up from undiluted 100% Heart leaf extract. It has antioxidants properties. Its even good on sensitive skin. I have been using this essence from two weeks in my morning Skincare routine. I like how well it gets absorbed into my skin. It gives hydration to my face by soothing it in the morning. The packaging is simple yet so elegant. The plus thing it doesn’t have any fragrance.

The transparent, matte bottle has a little give to it so you can squeeze out the essence. I've accidentally squeezed it too hard that it missed the cotton pad. This amber colored essence is watery and smells of earthy, tea leaves. I love how watery this essence is! I like to use it as a toner on a cotton pad first for a little exfoliation then follow up with more toner on my hands to pat it in. I love the sort of deeply refreshing feeling it gives my skin. It provides a deep hydration yet is lightweight. It leaves this velvety smooth finish. It has also helped to regulate oil production. I really like this essence! It's like a drink of water for your skin. And the scent is just so therapeutic too! I really enjoyed this and would definitely purchase it again! BANOBAGI Heart Leaf 100 Essence Heartleaf has been a popular skincare ingredient in K-beauty for a few years for its antioxidant, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Banobagi Heart Leaf 100 Essence is made of... guess what? 100% heartleaf essence in Jeju island. I really like this essence. It has a beautiful amber color and comes in the curved frost plastic bottle. I saw "essence" and thought it would have some body and probably be a little sticky. However it is very lightweight and absolutely no tackyness. It feels soothing and my skin feels soft and hydrated. I will definitely use this in my downtime/calming routines.

It feels really refreshing, hydrates my skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.
